McCormick Rankin Corporation has completed several Value Engineering (V/E) assignments for Municipalities and Provincial Transportation Ministries. McCormick Rankin is also one of the pre-qualified V/E Consultants for the Ontario Ministry of Transportation.

McCormick Rankin has acted as Project Manager on all of our V/E studies and in most instances has provided Team Members.

All of our projects have been carried out in accordance with the Society of American Value Engineers (SAVE International) 6 step Job Plan. These studies provided a number of benefits to the client, including:
•  Ensuring that the project is accomplishing the necessary functions
•  Identifying areas of unnecessary or excess cost
•  Identifying and evaluating cost reducing alternatives prior to the next phase of the project
•  Examining opportunities to add value to the project
•  Identifying project risks and develop strategies to mitigate.
